About Me

Hello, I'm Beatriz, a licensed psychotherapist (LMFT #125229) in the East Bay area. I offer therapy for children and adults. I'm here to support you as you navigate the challenges of daily life, heal from the hurts of the past, and create ways to thrive.

My Background

I am a creative soul and a native of California. I am a Chicanx woman therapist with training and experience in expressive arts therapy, sandtray therapy, and child play therapy. 

I have a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Expressive Arts Therapy from California Institute of Integral Studies. I have completed extensive training in child play therapy at the Child Therapy Institute. I have worked with all ages, from young children and teens to adults and elders. 

I am a member of the California Association of Marriage & Family Therapists (CAMFT).

My Approach

I believe deeply in the power of creativity and play as healing agents. I focus on strengths-based, client-centered and relational approaches, and I practice from a feminist, multicultural, anti-racist, social justice, and decolonization lens.
